Thirty million families. One goal: real financial confidence.
Rasheedatu Nyei is a contributing advisor to the National Financial Literacy Campaign — a national effort to help 30 million Canadian families build the confidence and the vocabulary to make sound money decisions by 2030.
Nobody is born knowing what an RRSP is.
Financial literacy isn't distributed evenly. Many Canadians — newcomers building credit for the first time, first-generation savers, young families juggling a mortgage and a new baby — reach major money decisions without ever having been taught the basics in school.
The campaign's goal is straightforward: put essential financial education in front of 30 million families by 2030, delivered by licensed professionals like Rasheedatu who already do this work every day, one household at a time.

What she contributes, in practice.
Some of it happens in a client meeting. Some of it happens in a community hall or a workplace lunchroom. Either way, the goal is the same — put real financial literacy in front of more families, not just more products.

Every client meeting includes a plain-language walkthrough of the reasoning behind a recommendation — not just the forms to sign.
